Automation consulting that ends in a working system
We map how your business actually runs, find the steps eating the most hours, and then build and deploy the automation ourselves. Process mapping, CRM integration and custom workflow builds — for owner-led businesses that need the admin handled, not a strategy deck.
What the work covers
Process mapping and opportunity audit
We sit with the people doing the work and write down what actually happens — not what the manual says. Then we cost each step in hours per month so you can see where the money leaks.
- Every repeated task listed, with who does it and how long it takes
- A shortlist ranked by hours saved against build effort
- A plain-language report you can act on, with or without us
CRM integration and clean-up
Most businesses already pay for a CRM that nobody trusts. We make it the single place enquiries live, then wire the rest of your tools into it so data stops being retyped.
- Website forms, WhatsApp, email and phone enquiries landing in one pipeline
- Owners, stages and follow-up reminders that match how you really sell
- Quotes, invoices and accounting tools connected both ways
Custom workflow builds
When no off-the-shelf tool fits, we build the workflow. Approvals, job cards, onboarding, reporting — whatever the spreadsheet has outgrown.
- Built on tools you can keep running after we hand over
- Notifications and escalations so nothing sits waiting
- A dashboard that shows the work, not vanity numbers
Reporting and handover
An automation nobody understands gets switched off. We document it, train your team on it, and stay available while it beds in.
- Written handover notes and short training sessions
- Monitoring so you know when something breaks
- Support while the team gets used to the new way of working
How an engagement runs
- 1
Discovery
A working session to map your processes and agree what is worth automating first.
- 2
Proposal with numbers
A fixed scope with expected hours saved, build cost and timeline. No retainer required to see it.
- 3
Build and test
We build in short cycles, with you reviewing real screens instead of documents.
- 4
Deploy and hand over
The system goes live, your team is trained, and you own it.
Know the hours you are losing?
Start with a mapping session. You will leave with a ranked list of what to automate first and what each one is worth — whether you build it with us or not.
Frequently asked questions
What does an automation consultant actually do?
Three things: works out which parts of your business are costing you time, designs a better process, and then builds and deploys it. We do all three rather than stopping at a recommendation document.
Is this only for AI projects?
No. Plenty of the highest-value work is ordinary business process automation — connecting a CRM to your quoting tool, routing enquiries, automating reporting. AI gets used where it genuinely helps, not as the headline.
How much does automation consulting cost?
Discovery and process mapping is a fixed, once-off fee. Builds are quoted per scope once we know what we're automating, so you approve a number before anything starts.
Do we need to replace our existing systems?
Usually not. Most engagements connect and clean up what you already pay for. Replacement is only recommended when the current tool genuinely cannot do the job.
How long before we see a result?
Mapping takes one to two weeks. A first automation is typically live within four to six weeks, chosen specifically because it pays back quickly.
